Each air-conditioned room at Kamana Lakehouse features contemporary decor, premium bedding, USB charging ports, free WiFi, and an outdoor seating area. Lakeview Luxe and Tahuna Lakeview rooms offer views over Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables, though some rooms face the parking lot. The Remarkables King Room provides a private balcony with partial lake views, while the Kamana King Room overlooks the courtyard. All rooms include Maraka toiletries and a rainfall shower.

Nest Kitchen + Bar

On-site Nest Kitchen + Bar serves contemporary New Zealand cuisine with a focus on local foraged ingredients and seasonal degustation menus. The restaurant offers a five-course tasting experience with wine pairing, plus a la carte breakfast options. Breakfast is priced at $45 NZD per person and includes items like homemade crumpets and pancakes. The lounge bar provides a smaller menu for walk-in guests.

Kamana Soak & Activities

Guests can book a complimentary 1-hour session in the private Kamana Soak tubs, which overlook Lake Wakatipu but are currently partially obstructed by a privacy screen due to nearby construction. The hotel also offers a hot tub and massage services. Activities include ski storage, bike tours, and guided walking tours. The restaurant's degustation dinner is recommended for a special experience.

Location & Transport

Kamana Lakehouse is a 5-minute drive from Queenstown Centre, with views of The Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu. It is a 5-minute walk from Fernhill Loop Track and Ben Lomond Track. The hotel is serviced by bus line #2 (stop across the road) for $2 to town, and only one tour company (Milford Sound) offers pickup. Guests with cars can park for free, but the location requires a car for easy access to downtown.

Services & Amenities

The hotel offers 24-hour front desk, concierge, express check-in/check-out, luggage storage, and private check-in/check-out. Amenities include a safety deposit box, key card access, fire extinguishers, and CCTV in common areas. Room service is available, but breakfast is not included in all bookings. The hotel is undergoing construction (Monday-Saturday, 8am-6pm) until April 2024, which may affect views and noise levels.
